Frequently Asked Questions
Individual Therapy:
My passion is working in an individual therapy setting. I don’t work with couples or families. If I’m doing work with teens, there will be times where parents may attend the session including a required parent consultation prior to teen beginning individual therapy.
What modalities do you use?
I use CBT, Mindfulness, Somatic work, EMDR, and Brainspotting often using an attachment theory lens. We can do “walk and talk” therapy upon request.
What does all of this mean? Can’t wait for you to find out!
Do you offer Telehealth or Walk and Talks?
I offer both in person and virtual sessions at your choice. It’s preferred to do your initial consultation in person prior to beginning virtual sessions but not required. We can do walk and talk therapy at your request with notice.
Session Cost and Length of Time?
Each session including your initial consultation is 50 minutes. The remaining 10 minutes after our time ends, I will be completing your chart.
50 minute initial consultation — $150
50 minute individual therapy — $150
50 minute walk and talk therapy — $150
Brainspotting/EMDR Intensives 90 minutes —$300
Do you accept insurance?
At this time I do not accept insurance. However, I provide monthly Super Bills for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement based on your individual plan. (Please contact your insurance company prior to meeting to understand what your reimbursement will be.)
What ages do you see?
I work with individuals 15+
What can I expect in my first session?
In your initial consultation we won’t get into your typical therapy session. We’ll spend time reviewing your paperwork together, getting to know each other, and understanding what brought you to therapy at this time.
